Elements of Spirit

One of the first steps to achieving optimal health would be to examine our spiritual connectedness to a power greater than ourselves. Whether we call that connection God, Source, Spirit, Allah or Jehovah is a decision only we can decide because ultimately this BS (belief system) colors every aspect of our lives; including our health.

Studies have shown that spiritually aware people, whether or not they practice a particular religion or not, are often healthier, happier people. When we nourish our spirituality through prayer, meditation, time spent in nature, listening to our intuitive, instinctive reactions and/or honoring the gifts we were born with, the body responds positively and our energy levels increase.
