In Need of Employment
Hi Gloria,
Thank you for your prayers. So far no luck getting a job. I send out resumes, surf the internet and apply on line, and actually hit the pavement looking for jobs. When I look back in time, it all comes down to networking (comes down to who you know more than what you know) to get a good job. This is a humbling experience to say the least …. and I must trust that God has a plan for me before I run out of my savings money. I feel like I’m gasping for air …… I know it’s the fear but I also know that I must try to stay calm.

Hi G,
I know that during this challenging time, it’s difficult to find the “good” in all of it. Of course God loves us and it’s so easy to slip into “Why God?” mode. Maybe you haven’t and if not, you managed to do what so many have not.
I don’t know if you ever heard any of my teachings on the Power of Words, but in 1999 my first book was on this very subject. This wasn’t simply a catch phrase with me, but rather, a WAY OF LIFE in which I even trained my children.
I KNOW how terribly discouraging it can be to be out of work and watch your savings account dwindle. But if you didn’t happen to read my blog (on my FB and websites) called “My Own Miraculous Healing through Affirmations”, please find a few minutes to do so.
I bring this to your attention only because I KNOW you can turn your situation around by turning your attention on what it is you DO WANT instead of what it is you don’t.
If you profess that the ONLY way you can get a job is by “who you know” then that is the only way you’ll find a job because those are the seeds you’ve planted.
The God of the universe is IN YOU and therefore, you have all POWER and ENERGY that creates the world and everything in it, residing IN YOU.
This isn’t fluff G. This is CREATIVE POWER awaiting YOU to CREATE something that resonates positively with what FEELS RIGHT AND GOOD inside of you.
Try this experiment: Think about your unemployment, the bills, the frustration of not getting interviews, etc.
HOW DOES IT FEEL INSIDE when you think upon this?
What you are FEELING inside, is your SPIRIT telling you that this is NOT what you REALLY, REALLY WANT TO CREATE so its giving you a warning bell in the form of negative emotions; (depression, anxiety, fear, discouragement).
Now think on something very exciting and positive: Like running into an old friend you had long forgotten about, and he tells you of a wonderful new job opportunity that they need to fill and he KNOWS he can get you hired. This is the PERFECT kind of job for you and fulfills all the fun and desires you have wanted for a very long time. Or maybe its a new business opportunity that you’ve been dreaming about!
IMAGINE IT!! FEEL WHAT IT WOULD FEEL LIKE if that happened tomorrow!!! How excited would you be? NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE Don!
The doctors told me that my “condition” was impossible to cure. Yet NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!
OUR THOUGHTS go out into the Universe and they WILL create. Like it or not, Believe it or not.
Its not about just THINKING a thought, but its also about FEELING A THOUGHT.
IMAGINE YOURSELF GETTING THE JOB OF YOUR DREAMS. HOW WOULD IT FEEL??
I have taken this time today to share this with you because Spirit wants you to know it.
I pray you will spend five minutes every morning, creating your day. IMAGINE, SPEAK, AND FEEL what you want to CREATE!
God hears you. He’s waiting for you to create the GOOD and leave the rotten behind.

Don, if this were not true, your spirit would give you a NEGATIVE FEELING about what you just read.
Because it gave you a POSITIVE feeling………..BEGIN TO TURN YOUR ATTENTION ON WHAT YOU WANT!!
